Back CA Job Description

Position Title: Back Chiropractic Assistant (Back CA)
Primary Role: Create a seamless, clean, calm, and efficient patient experience by supporting flow, maintaining the environment, and assisting the doctor in delivering excellent care.

 

 

Role Overview

The Back CA is responsible for the behind-the-scenes excellence of the office. This role ensures every patient moves smoothly through their visit, every room is prepared, and every interaction feels intentional and cared for.

You are the energy-setter of the space—anticipating needs, supporting the doctor, and maintaining an environment that reflects healing, order, and attention to detail.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Patient Experience & Flow

    • Manage patient flow and minimize wait times

    • Assist the doctor during adjusting and therapy as needed

    • Support a calm, welcoming, and efficient environment

    • Help guide patients through their visit when needed

 

  • Clinical & Operational Support

    • Prepare and maintain all adjusting and exam rooms

    • Ensure all doctor tools and supplies are stocked and ready daily

    • Present Day 1 financials to new patients

    • Assist with patient recalls and engagement efforts

    • Capture patient testimonials and photos (goal: 10/week)

 

  • Environment & Cleanliness

    • Maintain cleanliness of:

      • Adjusting tables and therapy equipment

      • Exam rooms and common areas

      • Chairs, couches, and patient-use items

    • Monitor and restock:

      • Face paper, gowns, diffusers, and sanitation supplies

    • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly deep cleaning tasks

 

  • Office Readiness (Opening & Closing)

    • Open and prepare the office for the day (lights, music, rooms, tools)

    • Close and reset the office (cleaning, trash, equipment charging, notes)

    • Maintain a consistently organized and welcoming space

 

  • Inventory & Office Support

    • Track and report low inventory

    • Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining storage areas

    • Support office organization and upkeep projects

    • Assist with social media updates and in-office visuals

 

  • Rhythm of the Role

    • Daily: Flow, cleanliness, room readiness, patient support

    • Weekly: Deep cleaning, inventory, organization, social media updates

    • Bi-weekly/Monthly: Deep organization, restocking systems, full office resets
