Celebrating Dr. Derek: One Year of Light, Love, and Leadership at The LightHouse

This month, we’re thrilled to celebrate one AMAZING year of Dr. Derek Mobley serving, leading, and lighting up lives at The LightHouse Chiropractic!

It's a dream come true for Dr. Derek, Dr. Hali & Dr. Devin to get to serve together in one practice. Did you know these fabulous docs are siblings??

Dr. Derek may be the youngest sibling of Dr. Devin and Dr. Hali, but don’t let birth order fool you—he has the soul of a wise old sage, the heart of a servant leader, and a calling that runs deep. A devoted Christian, a compassionate healer, and a visionary teacher, Dr. Derek lives his life with purpose and presence—and The LightHouse is better because of it.

Dr. Derek and his amazing wife, Dr. Jessica, went to school at Cleveland Chiropractic College in KC. They chased an oceanside dream & opened a practice in Charleston, South Carolina. Together, they’ve built both a beautiful family and a powerful legacy of healing. They are proud parents to four incredible kids—three daughters and one son—and live a life full of faith, laughter, and movement. As their kids got older, Dr. Derek & Dr. Jessica decided to make an adjustment & sell their practice to move back closer to family & friends.

We are all so very happy they followed God's calling to return!

We also want to take a second here to wish Dr. Derek an early HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!

The Mobley's

Dr. D's children are the LIGHT of his life! Catch Dr. D in full “gymnastics dad” or coach mode and you’ll see him at his happiest!! He also loves cranking up Logan Mize or country/Christian tunes. And he's an avid fan of the KC Chiefs & KSU Wildcats.

Dr. Derek radiates joy and warmth everywhere he goes. Whether he’s delivering life-changing adjustments or leading heartfelt community workshops, he brings the same grounded, genuine energy—calm, confident, and fully devoted to helping others heal, grow, and light up their lives.

Over the past year, Dr. Derek has become a pillar in our practice—helping kids thrive, supporting parents on their healing journey, and walking hand-in-hand with families as they reconnect to their God-given design and potential.

Dr. D, we see you. We celebrate you!
